JOHN M. JOHNSON was born 1804 in Wayne County, Kentucky, and died  1866 in Pike County, Missouri. He married Sally Kelly , daughter of JOSEPH KELLY and JANE BUSTER. She was born  1802 in Russell County, Virginia, and died 1875 in Pike County, Missouri.

John M. Johnson was a Baptist preacher.   He lived in Wayne Co, KY until sometime after 1822, when he moved to Clark Co, KY.  He moved to MO about 1830 and eventually settled in Pike Co., MO.  He died there.

iv. JAMES WARREN JOHNSON, b.  1827, Kentucky; d.  1890, Pike County, Missouri.

  v. NANCY MELVINA JOHNSON, b. 1828, Clark County, Kentucky; d. 1859, Pike County, Missouri.

  vi. SARAH "SALLY" MINERVA JOHNSON, b.  1830, Clark County, Kentucky; d. 1862, Pike County, Missouri.
